sometimes you just have to read between the lines to understand something. people hide their true selves, and that's just how it's gonna be. its the same in fashion. first glance at an outfit, you're like, "um? what is this?". you see, you have to read between the lines of the clothes, and think about the meaning instead. to me, fashion is my way to express myself. i put my emotions into my outfits. it's a form of art, and to some, a far better one than drawing or painting. instead of looking at the clash of colors, or mix of fabrics, look at the outfit and study it. and think. just think. the answer will come. but if there's one thing i've learned in being the only fashion & art crazed seventh grader, is that you have to give things a chance. and belive in yourself. that too.
that's all for now.

only the best
i'm pretty choosy with my music. i like what i like, and what i don't like, doesn't get to go on my iphone. i'm also the kind of person who finds good songs and puts them on repeat. sometimes they stay on repeat for a couple days, sometimes a couple hours. but once i find a good song, i let it play until i find another. i have gossip girl to thank for a lot of my favorite songs. so here's my current playlist just for your listening pleasure. enjoy.
opposite of adults by chiddybang
piece of you by the peirces
buzzin' by shwayze
believe by the bravery
EST by white lies
light at the end of the tunnel by the bloodsugars

Gossip Girl, I love you.
I honestly am going to admit that this sounds crazy, but this show changed my life. It helped me discover myself, figure out others, and all in all become wiser. I love how I feel like the show is so close to real life that I can just escape into it. I've found TV crushes (cough, cough, chace crawford), TV obsessions, favorite music, favorite clothes, and favorite actresses. I hope not only do you go back and watch all FOUR seasons of the show, trust me its worth it, but that you also check out the song buzzin by shawyze. found it on gossip girl. i will tell you more about this show later. but now i have to go watch some moe of it.

Welcome
Hi, yall'!
My name is Spencer George, and I am a teen girl from Charleston, SC. I love fashion and photography and would one day LOVE to have my own fashion magazine, or work for one like Vogue. I based the title for my blog off of the saying "Going Rogue". I sew and make my own designs. I have this blog to use a past time, something to do, and more or less somewhere to post my sketches and ideas. I am not professional nor do I have any idea what I'm doing with this. But I am nonetheless a dreamer & an optimist, and I dream that this will go somewhere. That someone will see this and make my dreams a reality. Yes, its far out and very unlikely, but you never know. I want to show you a little bit of what it's like to be me. Because, honestly, i'm different than all the normal teen girls you see out on the streets. I dress like i'm older, I speak like i'm older, and I wish I was. But I've found sewing to be something that helps me embrace the best qualities in me and put them first. Honestly, I think everyone should have a little bit of those differences. And something they love. You combine those, and that person will go far. So I hope you will read this and continue to support me on my journey thorough the Fashion World. Because even though i'm not there yet, I dream that I will be. And that this is just the beginning of me, of me going Vogue.
In the spirit of my favorite show, I have to sign off my posts with their traditional sign off. So, this is for you, Gossip Girl. Your insight into the Fashion World inspired me to start this blog in the first place, so here you go. Trust me, one day I'll pay you back for all you helped me realize.
XOXO,
Spencer G.
